Rahu and Thao Wessuwan are two powerful figures in Thai spiritual belief, each representing different kinds of protection and influence.
 
Rahu is associated with shadows, karma, and sudden change. Known for swallowing the moon during eclipses, Rahu is believed to influence fate, luck, and transformation—especially in times of uncertainty. Worshippers often pray to Rahu to reverse bad luck and turn misfortune into opportunity.
 
Thao Wessuwan, also known as Kubera, is the guardian of the north and a protector against evil spirits, often worshipped for wealth, authority, and safety. His image is commonly seen standing firmly with a mace, symbolizing strength and command over negative forces.
 
Together, these two deities represent both protection from harm and the power to overcome life’s challenges through resilience and spiritual balance.
